Chris Jackson

John Christopher “Chris” Jackson, 35, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Mr. Jackson was born in Florence, SC, a son of John Arthur Jackson, Jr. and Vicky Bone Lynch.He worked in construction. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jimmy Ray Hicks, Jr. of Florence and Step-brother, Jeffrey Locklair of Effingham; his sister, Haley Olivia Jackson of Florence and step-sister, Misty Lynch (Clifford) White of Florence; maternal grandparents, Jannie Mae Taylor and Frank Rhodes Taylor of Effingham and paternal grandmother, Rosa Evans, of Florence. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Jackson, Sr. and his aunts, Frankie Renee Taylor and Gayle Bone Calhoun. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
