Charles Laverne Walters, Jr., 53, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Mr. Walters was born in Florence, SC, a son of Gloria Martin Coldren and the late Charles Laverne Walters, Sr.He was raised by his late step-father, Barry M. Coldren.Mr. Walters was an all around avid outdoorsman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pennell Walters; step-son, Tim (Lorilynn) Crump of Hickory, NC; step-daughter, Rebekah (Josh) Watson of California; grandchildren, Macie, Max, JT, Joshua, Taylore, Andrew, Brendan and April; sister, Nellie Walters (Rheimer) Munn of Florence; and very special aunt, Barbara Martin Holladay of Florence. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Mausoleum.
