CHARLES STEPHEN “STEVE” HUGGINS FLORENCE, SC Charles Stephen “Steve” Huggins, 70, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mr. Huggins was born in Florence, SC a son of Charles Ravenel Huggins and the late Evelyn Doloreas Elliott Huggins.He was a graduate of Southside High School and Francis Marion University.He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and an avid golfer.He ran Woody’s BBQ and later Carolina BBQ. Surviving are his sons, Tracy Stephen (Susan) Huggins and Christopher Andrew “Drew” (Amber) Huggins, both of Florence; daughter, Kim Rene’ (Mark) Driggers of Turbeville, SC; father, Ravenel Huggins of Florence; grandchildren, Michelle Elizabeth H. (Tyler) King, Ryan Thomas Huggins, Caleb Elliott Huggins, Mary Kathryn (Brett) Inman, Maggie McKenzie (Andrew) Donaldson, Camille Rene’ Driggers, Anna Kathryn Huggins and Andrew Sellers Huggins; brothers, Mark Carter (Sharon) Huggins of Florida and Wayne Elliott (Jennifer) Huggins of North Myrtle Beach; sister, Donna (Rudy) Lewis of Florence. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 6316 Pamplico Highway, Effingham, SC29541 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd. Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the family receiving friends immediately following the services.
