Charles Rudolph Broach

CHARLES RUDOLPH BROACH KINGSTREE, SC CHARLES RUDOLPH BROACH, 77, of Kingstree, SC, died Monday, December 27, 2010 in a Florence hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Broach was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Ernest Borey Broach and Ella Mae Hatchell Broach.He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War and was a member of the Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kingstree.He retired after 39 years as District Manager for Independent Life and Accident Insurance. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his first wife, Mary Crosby Broach, who died in 1995. Surviving are his wife, Yvonne M.Broach of Kingstree; sons, Michael (Lindy) Broach and Danny (Shameena) Broach, both of Wilmington, NC; brothers, Herman Broach of Hartsville, Ralph (Annie Mae) Broach and Earnest (Betty) Broach, both of Florence, Ranerson (Mary) Broach and Larry (Shirley) Broach, both of Effingham; sister, Janette Hawkins of Florence; step-daughter, Cheryl Matthews of Kingstree, SC; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, 833 County Road S-45-249, Kingstree, SC29556. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
