CHARLES LESLIE POOLE FLORENCE, SC Charles Leslie Poole, 76, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Mr. Poole was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late M. Bynum Poole and Ellen Spicey Poole.He was employed as a buyer for King Drug Company for 54 years and was a member of the Florence Shag Club and the Tri-City Shag Club.He loved woodworking and antiquing. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Poole. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Molly Arnette Poole of Florence; children, Debbie (George) Dodge and Cheryl Poole, both of Florence and Charles Leslie “Les” Poole, Jr.; step-children, Coney B. (Christi) Arnette of Columbia and Dee Arnette (Vince) Cook of Fort Mill; grandchildren, Cameron Dodge, Karley Dodge, Chloe Thomason, John Ashby Arnette, William Henderson Arnette, Christian McLean Arnette, Tyler Poole and Rivers Whittle and a brother, Mack (Shirley) Poole, Jr. of Henderson, TN. Memorials may be made to the Meals on Wheels Senior Citizens Association, 600 Senior Way, Florence, SC29505. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
