Charles Henry Lamb

Charles Henry Lamb, 83, of Florence, joined his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 20, 2018. Mr. Lamb was born in Scranton, SC a son of the late William Lawrence Lamb and Mabel Archambault.He faithfully served his country in the US Air Force having served from 1951 – 1971.He retired from Pee Dee Pathology after 20 years and was a founding member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was a trustee and groundskeeper. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Henry Lamb, Jr.; brother, W.L. Lamb; two sisters, Elizabeth Jernigan and Frances Feagan, and by the mother of his children, Ellen Hagin Lamb. Surviving are his wife, Donna Baker Lamb of Florence; daughters, Debi Lamb (Frank) Jordan of Florence, Donna Lamb (Ronnie) Knight of Timmonsville, Dottie Lamb (Leo) O’Nealof Florence and Diana Lamb Logan of Marion; grandchildren, Ronnie (Kelly) Knight, III, Jason (Tracey) Lamb, Jennifer (William) Griffith, Katie Knight, Brandi (Kyle) Logan-Hubbard, Clayton Wainright and Amanda Raber; great-grandchildren, Chloey Lamb, Drew Knight, Ellie Knight, Jacey Lamb, Addison Griffith and Olivia Logan Hubbard; sister, Shelby (Jack) Webster of Goose Creek, SC. Memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, PO Box 207, Timmonsville, SC29161. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Liberty Baptist Church, 651 E. Main Street, Timmonsville.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
