Charles Harley

Charles "Chuck" Harley Florence, SC CHARLES "CHUCK" HARLEY, 49, of Florence, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his residence after an illness. Mr. Harley was born in Charleston, SC a son of Dr. Al Boyce Harley and Sidney Martin Harley.He was a graduate of West Florence High School and played on their football team.He was active in the Florence Junior Football League and was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple. Surviving are his parents of Florence; daughter, Catherine Harley of Hampstead, NC; sister, Kayre (Chris) H. Logan of Savannah, GA; brother, "Tersh" Harley of Charleston, SC; nieces, Sidney Wells Logan and Ella Logan; dogs, Chocolate and Lucky and a dear friend, Carole Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the Frank Monroe Scholarship Fund, c/o Florence Baptist Temple, 2308 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC29505. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 27, 2012 in the chapel of the Florence Bapitst Temple.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
