Charles Ray Griffith

Charles Ray Griffith , 51, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his home. Mr. Griffith was born in Greenville County, SC , a son of Joseph Griffith and the late Louise Green Griffith.He was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church and served as a Deacon, the Men’s Sunday School Teacher and as the sound technician there. Mr. Griffith was a driver for Vocational Rehabilitation. Surviving are his wife of twenty-two years, Donna Howard Griffith of the home; his father, Joseph Griffith of Florence; his sister, Sonya King (Fuller) of Florence; his nephew, Tyler King; his mother-in-law, Joan Howard of Florence; his special friend, Linda Stuckey and his beloved pets, Spanky and Molly. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014, at Faith Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at 1750 Christine Lane, Florence, SC.
