Charles L Dowdy

Charles L. Dowdy, 86, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Mr. Dowdy was born the son of the late Georgia Dowdy and Lendo Dowdy. He is also predeceased by his wife, Georgie Greene Dowdy.He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Florence National Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home and following the service at the home of Billy and Gloria Matthews.
