Charles Lenard Decost

Charles Lenard DeCost, 48, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. Mr. DeCost was born in New Brighton, PA, a son of Linnie Lanora Myers and the late Darl E. DeCost.He was a direction drill operator with J & H Underground. Surviving are his mother, Linnie Lanora Myers; wife, Gayle DeCost; children, Kasey DeCost, Julie Stephens, Jessica Stephens, Michael Haney and Samantha Hoke; grandchildren, Carmen Rogers, Suzannah Rogers, Lindsey Soles, Carlie Munn, Emillie Hoke, Gage Munn, Austin Hucks, P. J. Looper and Timonthy Haney; and brother, John DeCost. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darl DeCost, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
