Charles "Chuck" Thomas Horton

Charles Thomas “Chuck” Horton, 44, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from a battle with brain cancer. Chuck was born a son of Harold Eugene Horton, Sr. and the late Bonnie Lee Dixon Horton.He was a member of Hampton Masonic Lodge #204 and Omar Shrine Temple.Chuck was a devoted employee with Worthington Industries.He was a devoted father and husband.Chuck was an avid musician who loved music and entertaining. He is preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Horton; sister, Vickie Stewart and brother, Hal Horton. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Jesseca E. Horton; daughter, Charlie Ann Horton of Florence; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Sonja and Chuck Baker and Edward and Rhonda Edgerton; nephews, Cainon Horton, Jacob Horton, Dru Edgerton, Tyler Atkinson andnieces, River Baker, Lakin Atkinson, Ava Baker, Alexis Edgerton, Emily Edgerton, and special niece, Reagan Atkinson; brothers-in-law, Mark Stewart (Carol), E. J. Edgerton (Jonellen) and Hunter Baker; sister-in-law, Jordan Sims; and all his friends that loved him including his Masonic Family and Shrine Brothers. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pee Dee Shrine Club at 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
