Chandler Lewis Burns

Chandler Lewis Burns, 24, of Beaufort, SC, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. Chandler was born October 15, 1992, in Florence, a son of John Marcus and Penny Powers Burns of Florence.He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. Degree in Construction Science Management and worked with Powers Construction Company, Inc.Chandler attended Okatee Baptist Church in Bluffton, SC. In just 24 years, Chandler brought more joy through his undeniable kindness and winsome smile than most will in a lifetime. He worked with determination and strength and loved with all his heart. While he enjoyed nature, playing golf and Clemson football, he saved his passion for his family and friends. We will miss our ever loyal treasured son, grandson, brother, and husband, but are comforted that Chandler is now with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lydia Nolan Burns;brother, Jordan Marcus (Chelsea) Burns of Greenville, SC; and grandparents, Billy (Ann) Powers, Della Powers and Virgie Burns, all of Florence. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Archie Burns. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Church at Sandhurst directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery.
