CELIA SANDOVAL JEPERTINGER FLORENCE, SC Celia Sandoval Jepertinger, 85, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House. Mrs. Jepertingerwas born in Santa Ana, El Salvador, the daughter of the late Colonel Rafael V. Sandoval and Maria de la Luz Aquino.She was raised in Jutiapa, Guatemala.After graduating from Santa Rosa College in Guatemala City, she was engaged in secretarial work first for a private company, and then for the Office of the President of Guatemala, Dr. Juan Jose Arevalo.After President Arevalo’s term in office, she worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.After she married Joseph John Jepertinger, she emigrated to the United States, settling in Milwaukee, WI.She worked as a Spanish teacher for the Berlitz School of Languages and later she worked for the Milwaukee County Department of Social Services. She was a loving, generous, Christian who put others first in her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and a step-son, Mark D. Jepertinger. She is survived by a step-daughter, Phyllis (Rick) Heitkemper; a son, John (Francena) Jepertinger; a sister, Dolores (Don) Rickmeier; grandchildren, Matthew Jepertinger, Hudson Jepertinger, Kelly Miller and Eric Heitkemper; a great-granddaughter, Aurora Miller; two special nieces, Ana(D.J.) Rossbach and Sandra (Ty) Thompson and other family and friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
