Catherine Cecilia Ward

Catherine Cecilia Ward, 39, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at her residence. Ms. Ward was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of Victoria Ward Harrington and the late Danny Reid Ward, Sr.She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.Ms. Ward graduated from Wilson High School in 1993 and earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Florence-Darlington TEC in 2011. Surviving are her mother, Victoria Ward Harrington, and her husband, George Harrington, of Florence; three brothers, Reid Ward, Anthony (Brandon) Ward and John Ward, all of Florence;four sisters, Anna Ward of Flint, MI, Ellen (Chris) Lambert, Karen (Shane) Ward McMunn and Mary Ward, all of Florence; and eleven nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 113 S Kemp Street, Florence, SC 29506.
