Carroll H. Turner

Carroll H. Turner, 84, of Florence, SC passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, after a short illness.

Carroll was born in Florence, SC to the late Verdie Haynes Turner and William Oscar Turner. He attended McClenagan and worked at Sears. He joined the U.S. Air Force and then went into banking following his service. He retired as FDIC Consultant for Balboa Thrift and Loan in San Diego, CA.

Surviving is his wife, Linda Haithcock Turner; daughters, Melissa Ray, and Janet Plesser (Steve); grandchildren, Kyle, Noah, Brittany, and Alyssa; and six great-grandchildren; and brother, Russell Turner (Lupe).

There will be no services at his request.
