Carrie Lou Green Nance

Carrie Lou Green Nance, 88, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Mrs. Nance was born in Cerro Gordo, NC, a daughter of the late Steadman Green and Ashton Strickland Green. After her retirement from G.E. she worked at Tomlinson Wholesale. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert William Nance; two brothers and three sisters. Surviving are her brother, William “Duck” (Onda) Greene; sister-in-law, Kay Green; sitters, Faye Rochelle and Harriet Morris; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Monday, October 2, 2023, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
