Carolyn Matthews Lane

Carolyn Matthews Lane, 77, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Mrs. Lane was born in Coward, SC, a daughter of the late Ocie Matthews and Lyra McGee Matthews. She was the owner and operator of Lane’s Greenhouse. Surviving are her husband, Palmer Lane, Sr.; children, O. T. “Snick” (Cindy) Barbee, P. J. Lane and Barbara Lane, all of Florence; grandchildren, Elizabeth Todd Lewis, Nickolas Cagle; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Todd, Alyssa Todd, Mallorie Todd, Emma Lewis and Rebekah Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Donna Barbee Brown and Cliff Barbee; brother, Douglas Matthews; sister, Roberta Matthews.
