Carolyn Jean Crohan, 79, of Florence, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. She was born in Miami, FL a daughter of the late Bert Hutchins Crohan.She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, Ga and attended the School of Design in Atlanta.She was the former owner and operator of Tami’s Creations and Interior Designs. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Archilles Hercules Crohan and by a grandchild, Logan Prosser. Surviving are her sons, Joseph Franklin (Claudine) Prosser, Jr. of Marion and Luther “Luke” McDonald (Tammy) Prosser, II of Effingham; daughters, Tammy Lee (James) Vaughan of Effingham and Debra “Debbie” Dee (Aly) Mahmoud of Raleigh, NC; step-children, Linda P. Forsythe of Coward, Elaine Hall of Turbeville, SC, Debbie (Steve) Miles of Florence, and Tim Prosser of Jonesboro, GA; grandchildren, Bella Prosser, Shagean Prosser, Amanda Calvert, and Jared Yeager; 7 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel.
