Carol Boatwright Martin

Carol Boatwright Martin, 91, of Florence, SC, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026.

Carol had a love for music and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a talented painter with a creative spirit and also enjoyed sewing, decorating, and gardening. Carol loved cooking and had a natural talent for photography, especially when it came to capturing special moments with her camera. She was also very skilled with technology. One of her greatest joys was spending time roller skating with her grandchildren, creating memories they will always cherish.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Martin Sr.; son, David R. Martin; brother, Howard Boatwright; sisters, Marjorie Boatwright Lane, Helen Boatwright Yarborough, and May Boatwright Martin; and her son in law, Carlos W. Raines.

She is survived by her son, Frank L. Martin Jr. and his wife, Denise; daughter, Susan M. Raines; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Kingdom Hall Monday, May 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM.

The burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
