Carol M. Gaetano

Carol M. Gaetano, 72, passed away on Monday, April 3rd at the McLeod Hospice House. She was born in North Tonowanda, NY, the daughter of the late William and Geraldine Jayne Martin, Jr. She was a member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church of Florence and served as a member of the church council. Carol will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. She was an avid gardener, a talented cook and a generous volunteer to numerous charitable organizations. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony Gaetano. Surviving are her son David Gaetano of Qunicy, MA, her daughter Lisa Mallach, son-in-law Doug and grandchildren Andrew, Jane and William of Rumson, NJ; her brother Rick Martin and his wife Susanna of Altamont, NY and her brother Hal Martin and his wife Linda of Canandaigua, NY. A memorial celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6 at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church of Florence. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
