Carol Corder-Lane

Carol Corder-Lane, 65, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. Mrs. Lane was born a daughter of the late Louis Earl Corder and Ethel Schuyler Corder.She graduated from Betty Stevens and was a retired cosmetologist. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Brooks “Brookie” Lane, Jr.; sons, Herbert Brooks “Trey” Lane, III; Brighton Lane and Blake Lane; daughters, Jencey Tetanich (Brandon) and Brooke Lane; seven grandchildren; brother, Andrew “Drew” Corder (Vicki); sister, Ann Sheppard (Louis) and in-laws, Velma and Sam Tennyson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Louis Earl Corder and her father-in-law, Herbert B. Lane, Sr. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Chapel of Florence Baptist Temple. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
