Carlisle Shelley

CARLISLE SHELLEY FLORENCE, SC CARLISLE SHELLEY, 74, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Shelley was born in Rains, Marion Co., SC a son of the late Joseph and Elise Turner Shelley.He was a faithful member of Eastside Christian Fellowship and was retired from the Plant Operations Department at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty King and a brother, Jimmy Shelley. Surviving are his devoted wife, Patricia Jean Hewitt Shelley, with whom he celebrated his 53rd wedding anniversary on April 16, 2013; children, Brian Keith (Karen) Shelley of Lamar and Debra Harper of Tucson, AZ; grandson, Bon Steff Shelley of Pensacola, FL and by a brother, Kenneth (Brenda) Shelley of Darlington, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Eastside Christian Fellowship.
