Carleton Carey Benenhaley, 68, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
He was born in Santa Monica, CA, the son of the late Charles Louis Benenhaley and Helena Elizabeth McCutcheon Benenhaley. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and camping. He attended Peace Freewill Baptist Church. He also was an avid Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Braves fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Bobby Benenhaley and Jamey Benenhaley.
Surviving are his wife, of 39 years, Donna Benenhaley; daughter, Kara Amber Benenhaley; brother, David (Simmie) Benenhaley; and nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
The memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
