Captain Julius Goodman Lee

CAPTAIN JULIUS GOODMAN LEE, (FCSO, Retired) Captain Julius Goodman Lee, (FCSO, Retired), died early Friday morning, March 22, 2013 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Captain Lee was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Clifton Theodore Lee and Dolly Goodman Lee.He was employed with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office for 25 years. Surviving are his best friend and wife, Dana Olsen Lee of Florence; sons, Clifton (Sharon) Lee of Florence and Chris (Amanda) Lee of Statesboro, GA; step-daughters, Morgan Eason and Emma Eason, both of Florence; grandchildren, Graysen, Braeden, Collin, Noah and Colton and his faithful canine companions, Mojo, Maddie and Oscar. Julius was a liver transplant recipient in 2009 and would greatly appreciate memorials be made to Lifepoint, Inc. at www.lifepoint-sc.org. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 25, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
