Calvin Leroy Vause Florence, SC Calvin Leroy Vause, 74, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mr. Vause was born in Florence, SC a son of the late William Leroy Vause and Edith Ford Vause.He retired from Vulcraft after 31 years and was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Danny Vause, George Vause and Lester Ford. Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Nina C. Vause of Florence; son, Kelvin “Kel” (Darlene) Vause of Gaston, SC; daughter, Tonya (Michael) Jordan of Irmo, SC; step-daughter, Theressa (Bobby) Garris of Florence; sisters, Martha Whitt of West Virginia, Jean Richburg and Sharon “Bertie” Weatherford, both of Florence; grandchildren, Kelli (Justin) Ulmer, Kasey Vause, Devan Jordan, Alyssa Jordan, Jessica Garris, Christopher Garris and Caroline Garris. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502, www.mcleodfoundation.org. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
