BRENDA H. JACKSON, 65, of Florence, died at a local healthcare facility on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Brenda was born in Dillon, a daughter of the late Marie B. and Charles Herring. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, M.L. “Jack” Jackson, Jr., her sisters, Gail (Curt) Melton of Scranton, Charles Anna (Harry) Page of Floydale, Sue (Bobby) Darmon of Dillon; her brother, Ronnie (Mary) Herring of Florence; sisters-in-law, Susan (Elton) Cochran of Florence, Paige (Marty) Bright of Lawrenceville, GA, Jeanne Herring of Lexington, SC, and Susan Herring of Dillon; brother-in-law, Wade (Tracy) Jackson of Whispering Pines, NC; as well as in-laws, Jessieand Marion Jackson of Florence, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, Charles and Dale Herring, and a sister, Patricia Herring. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Southside Baptist Church, with burial in Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
