Brenda Joyce Bryant

Brenda Joyce Bryant, 74, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025.

She was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Heyward Eaddy and Willie Mae Barfield Eaddy. Mrs. Bryant was a high school graduate of McClenaghan High School. She worked in collections for many years for Bank of America, in Florence, SC. She later went on to work for Ward Insurance Company as an insurance agent.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Michael Kirby.

Surviving are her daughter, Stephanie (Tony Gainey) Smith, of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Deseray Smith, Brianna (Landon) Blackmon, Dylan Todd, Gracelyn Todd, Victoria (Tray) Smith, Aponi Kirby and Haley Martin; great-grandchildren, Ma’Lania, John-Michael, Addison, Raelyn, Layla, Michael, Harmony and Bella; brother, Johnny Eaddy; sister, Betty (Mike) Bullard; and nieces, Christina Todd and Jessica Wilks.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
