Bradley Craig Prescott

Bradley Craig Prescott, 69, of Florence, SC, passed away Thursday, April, 16, 2026.

He was the son of the late Sidney James Prescott and Dorothy Creekmore Prescott.

Bradley was born October 8,1956 in Wantagh Long Island, New York. He resided most of his life in Florence, SC. He was grateful for his wife Margie Prescott and son, Justin (Momoka) Prescott of Tokyo, Japan.

He was an avid saltwater fisherman, a passion reflected in the name of his boat, Psyquatic. He was deeply grateful to God for His guidance and direction, as well as for the ocean, which he cherished as both a refuge and a source of joy. He had a love for building teams and mentoring others, especially during his years coaching youth soccer.

Bradley spent much of his professional life in the construction industry, serving in a variety of roles from industrial engineering to hands-on work he approached with tireless dedication. Although he was a graduate of the College of Charleston, he often credited his true education to what he fondly called the “Wilhoit Institute of Technology.” He was grateful for the opportunity to work under Richmond Wilhoit, owner of Millwright Services of Florence, whom he regarded as both a brilliant mentor and a man of strong Christian faith who generously shared his knowledge and beliefs.

In addition to his wife and son, he is survived by his brother, Chip (Ruth) Prescott of Portland, Oregon and sister, Susan (Hap) McSween of Knoxville, TN.

There will be a visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday, April, 19, 2026 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
