Boyd Dargan Dalrymple

Boyd Dargan Dalrymple, Jr., 81, of Florence, passed away Friday, September 01, 2017. Mr. Dalrymple was born in Hartsville, SC a son of the late Boyd Dargan Dalrymple, Sr. and Mary Davis Dalrymple.He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and the Berlin Crisis. He retired from DuPont and later enjoyed working for 12 years at Manheim Auto Auction.He was a member of the Palmetto Street Church of God and was honored to have filled the pulpit at Royal Street Church of God for a year. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sidney Dalrymple and Billy Dalrymple. Surviving are his wife, Grace Warren Dalrymple of Florence; Daughters, Terrie (Tom) Wallace, Shawn (Donnie) Watford and Cristi (Jamie) Hammons, all of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Andrew Wallace, Mary Hannah Wallace, Joshua Watford, Anna Grace Watford, Madison Hammons, Merideth Hammons and Morgan Hammons and sister, Doris Beasley of Hartsville. Memorials may be made to the Seniors Alive Sunday School Class at Palmetto Street Church of God, 3132 Palmetto Street, Florence, SC29501. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Palmetto Street Church of God with the service in the church sanctuary at 3:00 PM.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
