Bonnie Lou Ward

Bonnie Lou Ward, 78, of Darlington, SC, passed away at home on Monday, January 27, 2020. Ms. Ward was born a daughter of the late Bernita Stores Thorpe and Guy Thorpe.She was a social worker with the Department of Social Services retiring after many years.Ms. Ward was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frederick Ward. Ms. Ward is survived by her son, Glenn Ward (Fran) of North Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Carlene Martin (Steve) of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Mason Ward, Justin Martin, Cody Martin and Zachery Martin and lifelong best friend, Priscilla Bochette and close friend, Juanita Altman. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Florence Baptist Temple. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM on Saturday at the Church.
