BONNIE IVEY SPRINGS Florence, S.C. BONNIE IVEY SPRINGS, 73, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at a local healthcare facility. She was born in Dillon, SC, the daughter of the late Captain Garrison Ivey and Ressie Cook Ivey.She attended Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Springs is predeceased by her husband, Galen Bennett Springs, who died in 1999; her son, Rocky G. Springs, who died in 2009; her infant granddaughter, Ashley Springs, and her sister, Doris Jones. She is survived by her children, Bennett Springs, Vera (Chad) Springs Hewitt, and Gail Springs, all of Florence; four grandchildren, Jeff Springs, Hannah Springs, Lindsey Springs Bibler and Tyler Hewitt, all of Florence; two great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Springs and Taylor Springs, both of Florence;a brother, Lester Ivey of Dillon; a sister, Gladys Marie Suggs of Dillon; two daughters-in-law, Phyllis Springs and Donna Poston, both of Florence; and her faithful canine companion, her poodle, Abbey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2012, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
