Boggan Haney

Boggan Haney, 57, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. Mr. Haney was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late Boggan Haney and Ruby Powers Haney. He attended Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Milton Laverne “Red” Haney. Surviving are his partner, Leesa Welch of Florence; son, Michael Haney of Timmonsville; step-daughter, Brandi Welch of Florence; grandchildren, Timothy Haney, Logan Shepherd and Alexander Shepherd; brother, Bubba (Marta) Haney of Florence; sisters, Carolyn Gainey of Florence, Marie (Robbie) Smith of North Carolina and Judy (Ronnie) Bazen of Florence. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Thompson Cemetery. The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
