BOBBY DEAN WINSTEAD FLORENCE, SC Bobby Dean Winstead, 72, of Florence, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. He was born in Rocky Mount, NC a son of the late R.L. Winstead and Ernestine Vick Winstead.He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Florence where he was a member of the John Davis Sunday School Class.He was a member of the Omar Shrine Temple, was a member of the Pee Dee Shrine Club serving in 1998 and 2001 as president, was voted Pee Dee Shrine Club Shriner of the year in 1997 and served as Director of Omar Dare Devils in 1997, 1998, 2000 and 2001.He was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters Court No. 113 and a member of the Mecca Masonic Lodge No. 407. He had been an avid fisherman and retired from Florence Tire Service. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Odom Winstead of Florence; sons, Robert “Robbie” Allen Winstead of Florence and Bobby Dean (Amy) Winstead, Jr. of Raleigh, NC; grandsons, Hunter Winstead, Peyton Winstead and Brock Winstead, all of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Joyce (Julian) Batchelor of Hartsville and Diane (Phil) Stephenson, of Florence; mother-in-law, Aileen Odom of Darlington. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital For Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC29605 or to the First Baptist Church, 300 South Irby Street, Florence, SC29501. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
