Bobby Glenn Russ

Bobby Glenn Russ, 55, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at McLeod Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Russ was born in Florence, SC, on May 17, 1959, to the late Willie Russ and Thelma Russ of Dillon, SC. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ and he leaves a legacy of love and faith for his children and grandchildren. Mr. Russ is preceded in death by his father, Willie Russ; his mother, Thelma Russ; his brothers, Joe Russ, Buddy Russ and James Russ and his sister, Emma Elmore. Surviving are his wife, Angel H. Russ; children, Amanda Russell (James), Crystal Russ, Anna Russ, and William Russ; seven grandchildren and his siblings, Willie Russ (Harriett), Ronnie Russ (Janet) and Sarah Powell. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:00 p.m. on Monday at funeral home.
