BOBBY RAY "BOB" CRAIN FLORENCE, S.C. BOBBY RAY "BOB" CRAIN, 79, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Bob was born in Roan Mountain, TN, a son of the late Arthur and Ethel Barnett Crain. He had retired from the US Air Force after 20 years, and went on to retire from McCall Supply in Florence after 30 years. He was a member of the VFW and of the Florence Baptist Temple, and was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Debra Crain and Patricia Crain Morris. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Stalvey Crain of Florence; children, Eddie Ray Crain of Kileen, TX and Donna Crain Poston of Florence; grandchildren, Aimee (Keith) Crim, Robyn Crain, Katrina (Len) Rogers, Amanda Stein, Brady Johnson, Matthew (Katie) Crain and Hannah Poston; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Haley, Tristan, Jaxton, Brailey, McKinsey, Josiah and Wyatt. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Florence Baptist Temple. Interment will follow, with military honors, in Florence Memorial Gardens, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
