Bobby Joe Mosley, Sr. Florence, SC Bobby Joe Mosley, Sr., 82, of Florence passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 on his 60th wedding anniversary at his residence after an illness. Mr. Mosley was born on November 9, 1930 in Waynesboro, MS, a son of the late Ralph and Kathleen Yarborough Mosley.He retired from the US Marine Corps having served during both the Korean War and the Vietnam War.Prior to his declining health, he attended Peace Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Juliette Tart Mosley; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lib Tart; a sister-in-law, Jessie Moss; and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by a son, Bobby Joe Mosley, Jr., and two brothers, Howard Allen Mosley and Truman Mosley. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 10, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow in the Hewitt Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the funeral home.
