Billy Lee Hall, 78, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Mr. Hall was born in Ozark, MO, a son of the late Hanan Hall and Gladys Holt Hall.He was a US Navy Veteran, serving on carriers during the Korean War.He and his wife co-owned Carol’s Restaurant.Mr. Hall was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where he was active on several committees and served as a greeter and cooked on Wednesday nights.Mr. Hall coached youth athletics for many years and was active in school activities, doing whatever was needed.He received the “Giving Your Best” award from WBTW for his contributions.He was an advocate in supporting our youth, The Future Of America. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Billy Lee Hall, II,; two sisters, Kathleen and Mary and a brother, Albert. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Carol Northcutt Hall; his children, Pastor Jerry (Amy) Hall of Florence, William Hall of Florence and his special friend, J. R. Blackwell, Tiffany Hall of West Palm Beach, FL; Ricky (Gay) Pierce of Timmonsville and Tracey (Wes) Helms of Florence; five grandchildren, Sebella Hall, Joseph (Laura Beth) Hall, Allison Hall,Katie (Ryan) Morrell and McKenzie Pierce; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Hall and Isaac Hall; brothers, Bob Hall and Charles Hall and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Central United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Church in the Commons Area. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, P. O.
