Beverly Myers Carnes

Beverly Adrienne Myers Carnes, 76, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. Beverly, daughter of the late Mildred Summerford Myers and Richard Adrian Myers, was a giving, loving and caring mother and grandmother.She was employed by McLeod Regional Medical Center in the Postpartum Unit and Newborn Nursery for thirty-five years and was a life-long member of First Baptist Church.Beverly was so loved by many friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Sloan. Beverly is survived by her sons, Richard Emmette Smith (Merle) of Florence, SC, Dr. Liston David Hayes, Jr. (Jessica) of DeLand, FL and John Alad Hayes (Chrystal) of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Meredith Bailey, Richard Jackson Smith, Adrian Wesley Smith, Kelsey E. Hayes, Claire A. Hayes, Hunter G. Hayes and Isabella A. Hayes; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Bailey and Harper Bailey; sisters, Rachel Odom (Glenn) and Gay Anderson (Don), both of Florence; her work family at McLeod Regional Medical Center and many dear friends. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held from 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service.
