Betty Jo Williams

Betty Jo Williams, 65, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Mrs. Williams was born in Rio Honda, Texas a daughter of the late Joe Lloyd Lambert and Bessie Lee Galliher Lambert.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was employed with Sara Lee Hosiery for 18 years, then was a sales associate for Walmart for 14 years before retiring in 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Williams and by a great-grandchild, Odin Weinelt. Surviving are her sons, John (Cresie) Williams, Robert (Jennifer) Williams, and Adam Williams, all of Florence; daughter, Charlotte Parnell of Summerton; grandchildren, John Williams, III, Joseph, Joshua, Jessica, Joslan, Nathaniel, Dustyn, Kelly, Aaron, Douglas, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Jeremiah, Piper, and Caleb; special niece, Tracie McDaniel and special friends, Sherry, Carolyn, and Irene Brown. The family will receive friends from 9 – 10 am Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the service to follow at 10:00.
