Betty Joyce Turner

Betty Joyce Turner, 72, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Ms. Turner was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Jessie Lee Moore, Jr. and Margaret Pierce Moore McElveen.She graduated from McClenaghan High School and was a rural mail carrier with USPS.Ms. Turner was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela Allen; granddaughter, Georgia Grace Allen; brother, Jimmy Moore; sisters, Loretta Riley and Temple Owen; and one niece and four nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014, at Tabernacle United Methodist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
