Betty Jo Graham Martin

Betty Jo Graham Martin, 86, of Florence, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015. Mrs. Martin was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Osie O. Graham and Alma Gause Graham She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Florence and attended Green Hill Baptist Church in Columbia where she was a member of the Sunshine Group.Mrs. Martin retired from Florence School District #1, Royal Elementary School Cafeteria. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Jack Martin, Sr. and her siblings, Howard Graham, Newell Graham and his wife Dee, Bobby Graham and his wife, Bobbie Jean, LeNeve Graham and Allston K. Graham and his wife, Mildred. Surviving are her children, Debbie Marlowe of Columbia, William Jack Martin, Jr.and Todd (Janice) Martin, both of Florence; four grandchildren, Lisa (Jonathan) Waites of Raleigh, Brett W. Marlowe of Columbia, R. Vance Kelly of New York, and Graham Martin of Florence; six great-grandchildren, Reaghan, MaKenzie, Zachary, Grayson, Ansleigh and Whitney; a number of nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. pm on Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their special thanks to the staff at Laurel Gardens and Agape Hospice for the care and love given to Mrs. Martin.
