Betty Jean Odom Hughes, 86, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Mrs. Hughes was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Nora DuBose Odom and Levi Odom. She is survived by her son, Leon Edward (Stephanie) Hughes of Florence; her daughter, Velma (Claude) Morris of Florence; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon B. Hughes. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
