Betty Jenkins Hutchinson

BETTY JENKINS HUTCHINSON, 75, of Florence, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mrs. Hutchinson was born in Boaz, AL, a daughter of the late James Clarence and Ora Mae Bailey Jenkins. She had retired from Sara Lee Hoosiery and was a longtime active member of Quinby Baptist Church.She was active along with her husband Roger in the Omar Shrine and continued to be a Lady Noble after his death. She is survived by her Sons, Baron Earl (Mary Beth) Tedder of Atlanta, GA and Ben William Tedder of Marion; her daughter, Deborah Jane (Robert Wayne) Warr of Clermont, FL; her sisters, Peggy Sue McKeen and Brenda Sue Barkley, both of AL, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and the father of her children, Billy Cole Tedder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roger Hutchinson, by one great-grandchild, and by 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M.
