Betty Moore High

Betty Moore High, 83, of Florence, SC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Mrs. High was born in Erwin, NC a daughter of the late Ernest Franklin Moore and Eula Mae Weaver Moore.She was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church and had worked in the business office of Southern Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Hugh High, who passed away on January 31, 2008. Surviving are her son, Rick (Angela) High of Asheville, NC and their children, Logan High, Spencer (Erica) High and Austen High and her daughter, LeAnne (Steven) Wolford of Wake Forest, NC and their children, Kendall Wolford and Garrison Wolford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Unity Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 2990 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC29505 or to the American Red Cross, PO Box 4002018, Des MoinesIA50340. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2013 at Unity Baptist Church.Entombment will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
