Betty H. Evans Florence, SC Betty H. Evans, 64, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at her residence. Betty was born in Spartanburg, SC a daughter of the late James and Vivian Haralson. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Florence. She is survived by her husband, Stephen A. Evans of Florence, 3 children, Crystal (Eddie) DeHart of Florence, Mark (Kelly) Shoe and Ginger (Mark) Turner both of Fayetteville, NC, 2 step-children, Justin (Jennifer) Evans of Dillon and Karla (C.R.) Sawyer of Kansas, 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brother, Bruce (Varon) Cook of Little Rock. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Friday, December 27, 2013 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 11:00 – 12:00 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hartsville Church of God of Prophecy, 1133 North 5th Street, Hartsville, SC.
