BESSIE PURVIS POSTON FLORENCE, SC Bessie Purvis Poston, 82, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016. Mrs. Poston was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Herbert Purvis and Trudy Purvis.She was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jessie James Poston. Surviving are her son, David Poston of Effingham; daughter, Billie Poston of Florence; grandchildren, Hayley Poston, Dylan Edmonds and Dustin Edmonds; great-grandchild, Paisley Ray. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Entombment will follow the service.
