Bernice Conner Dalrymple

BERNICE CONNER DALRYMPLE FLORENCE, SC Bernice Conner Dalrymple passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Effingham, SC, on January 5, 1924 to the late Jessie and Lottie Conner. She was married to the late Charles Sidney Dalrymple, Sr. with whom she had four sons, Charles Dalrymple, Jr. and Larry Dalrymple, both of Effingham and Scott Dalrymple and Alan Dalrymple, both of Florence.She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Heyward Conner and Edward Conner both of Effingham, and Boyd Conner of Florence; and 1 sister, Bessie Mae DeBerry of Myrtle Beach. Bernice retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 2 grandsons, Charles Dalrymple, III and Danny Dalrymple; 1 great-granddaughter, Paige Isgett; and 2 brothers, Dalmer Conner and Willard Conner. Funeral services will be held at2:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014,at Florence Memorial Gardens Chapeldirected by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1400 West Evans Street, Florence, SC29501.
