Barbara Boles Powell Effingham, SC Barbara Boles Powell, 74, of Effingham, passed away on Friday, January 08, 2016 at her residence. Ms. Powell was born in Brooklyn, IN a daughter of the late Laurence Harley Boles and Gleda Mae Kincaid Boles.She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Loretta Bocock. Surviving are her son, Laurence Powell; daughter, Lisa Powell (Melton L.) McKenzie; brother, Johnny Boles; grandchildren, Brittany (Jamie Spires) McKenzie, Amber McKenzie and Emily McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Capri Spires and Jonathan Isaac Mayo.
