Barbara Jean Mclaughlin

Barbara Jean McLaughlin, 75, of Scranton, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017. Miss McLaughlin was born a daughter of the late Elarice Prestell McLaughlin, Sr. and Blanche Minnie Mixon McLaughlin.She was a member of First Church of Nazarene. Miss McLaughlin was a cafeteria cook with Florence School District #1. She is survived by her brother, Ernest H. McLaughlin of Truman, Arkansas and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, John David McLaughlin, Sr. and Elarice Prestell McLaughlin, Jr. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at McLaughlin Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
