Barbara Steverson Lynch

Barbara Steverson Lynch, 76, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Mrs. Lynch was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Moses Knight Steverson and Lottie Jane Touchberry Steverson. She retired from General Electric after thirty-two years.Mrs. Lynch loved her dogs, Major and Snowball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Washington Lynch and brothers, Lewis Maxwell Steverson and Melton Lamar Steverson. Surviving are her brothers, Herbert Thomas (Margaret) Steverson, Aaron Rudolph (Minnie) Steverson, Steve Edward (Carol) Steverson and Charles T. (Allicyn) Steverson; sisters, Patricia (Jimmie) Conner and Rita S. (Mike) Creel and thirty-six nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel.Burial will follow in the cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6 -8 pm Friday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Patricia and Jimmie Conner.
